Training guide · Marketing (beyond email)
From "what's slowing down" to a published post or an automatic discount
Marketing Hub is the one home for every channel — social, email, SMS/WhatsApp (roadmap) — plus a live health check on your Facebook connection. Marketing Insights turns your own sales and stock data into two plain- English worklists. Social Auto-Pilot drafts Facebook/Instagram posts with AI and holds them for your approval before anything goes out. Promotions & Deals is the discount engine that applies automatically at the till and online — no codes to hand out. Mass Email Campaigns is covered in a separate CRM guide.
Marketing → Marketing Hub
Marketing Hub
"One home for every channel you use to reach customers." It opens on your Facebook connection's health, then a KPI strip and a channel grid — some channels live and working today, a couple clearly marked as roadmap rather than pretending to be finished.
Connect Facebook once, everything else uses it
Social Auto-Pilot and FB Studio both need a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) connection, so the Hub surfaces its health right at the top rather than burying it in Settings: Healthy, Token expiring soon, Connection broken — reconnect, or Not checked yet. If your organisation hasn't set up its own Meta App yet, a "Set up your Meta / Facebook App" panel appears asking for the App ID, App Secret, and OAuth Redirect URI first.
🟢 Healthy — Meta connection covers Marketing + CRM Lead Ads
Channels at a glance
A KPI strip counts Social drafts pending review; Email, SMS, and WhatsApp show as a dash because those live in their own modules or aren't built yet. The channel grid underneath is the honest map of what's actually available today.
| Channel | Description | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social Auto-Pilot | AI-drafted Facebook & Instagram posts on your cadence | Active | Open Social Auto-Pilot → |
| Promotions & Deals | Discount codes and bundles — lives under POS | Active | Open Promotions → |
| SMS Broadcasts | Roadmap | Coming soon | — |
| WhatsApp Business | Roadmap | Coming soon | — |
Marketing Automation: post drafts triggered by what's happening in-store
A separate queue lives at the bottom of the Hub itself (not its own nav item) — "Auto-draft posts from POS events — new arrivals, promotions, low stock. Review & publish in one click." Four trigger types: 📦 New product arrival, 🏷️ Promotion activated, ⚡ Low stock FOMO, 🏆 Weekly best-sellers.
Brand Voice: Fun & casual 😊 · Hashtags: Auto-suggest 5 tags · Publish Mode: 👁 Queue for review first
| Type | Trigger | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 📦 New arrival | Amoxicillin 500mg added to catalogue | Pending Review |
| ⚡ Low stock | Paracetamol 500mg below threshold | Published |
Marketing → Marketing Insights
Marketing Insights
Two plain worklists built from your own sales and stock data, computed with simple date thresholds — not an AI model. "At-risk," "lost," and "slow-moving" are just recency counts against numbers you set yourself.
Set your own thresholds
Threshold settings lets you decide what "at-risk," "lost," and "slow-moving" mean for your business — the defaults are 60 days (at-risk), 120 days (lost), and 45 days (slow stock), but a fast-moving pharmacy and a slow-moving furniture store shouldn't use the same numbers.
Customers to win back
At-risk and lost customers are combined into one list, each with a plain suggestion line generated straight from their own order history — no AI copywriting, just the facts.
| Customer | Contact | Suggestion |
|---|---|---|
| 137 Mott Pharmacy Inc | sutariapankit@gmail.com | No purchase in 74 days (12 past orders, $2,140 total) — consider a win-back offer. |
Stock that isn't moving
The same idea applied to inventory: products that haven't sold recently, with the dollar value of stock tied up in them and a one-click way to act on it.
| Product | Category | Suggestion | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitamin C 1000mg (VITC-1000) | Supplements | 48 units in stock, last sold 61 days ago — consider a clearance promo or bundle. | Create Promo → |
Marketing → Social Auto-Pilot
Social Auto-Pilot
AI-drafted Facebook and Instagram posts — genuinely AI-generated, with a choice of provider — held in a draft queue for you to review, edit, and approve before anything publishes. Nothing posts on your page without a human step in between, unless you deliberately turn auto-publish on.
Set brand voice and pick an AI provider
Settings covers who's writing (Claude — shared, or your own Gemini/Groq key), your brand name, voice (Formal / Friendly / Playful / Bold), industry, emoji and hashtag style, max post length, and which content sources to draw from — Products, Promotions, Seasonal events, Custom prompts, and live Market Trends via web search.
Auto-generation cadence: Weekdays (Mon–Fri) at 9:00 AM
Generate a batch of drafts
Generate drafts opens a small brief — an optional note on what to focus on this round, and how many to produce (3/5/8/10) — at roughly $0.01–0.03 per generation shown up front so there's no surprise. New manual post skips the AI entirely and drops your own text straight into the same review queue.
Review, approve, and publish
Every draft sits at draft until someone acts on it — ✓ Approve, ✕ Reject, or Edit first if the wording needs work. Publish now only appears once a post is approved and Facebook is connected; Schedule queues it for a set date/time instead. Copy is there for posting manually through Meta Business Suite if you'd rather not connect the account at all.
| Post | Platform | Source | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| "New shipment of Vitamin C just landed 🍊" | 🤖 Claude AI | Draft | Approve · Reject · Edit | |
| "Weekend special: 15% off supplements" | 📊 Template-based | Approved | Publish now · Schedule |
FB Studio: a manual composer for one specific promotion
A related but separate tool, opened from a promotion's 📱 Post button (or "Create Facebook Post" on the Promotions header) — a composer tied to one product or promo, with goal/tone/ style pickers and caption suggestions. It doesn't post directly: 🚀 Post to Facebook via Social Auto-Pilot hands the finished post into the same draft queue above, so it still goes through the same review step.
Marketing → Promotions & Deals
Promotions & Deals
The discount rules engine — ten promotion types across percentage-off, bundle, and free-item mechanics, applied automatically at checkout. There's no coupon code to generate or hand out: if a cart qualifies, the discount applies.
Ten promotion types, two families
Discounts (percentage or fixed off): Bill Min, Cat Spend, Item Count, Bundle $, Tiered Qty, Time Window, Member Tier. Free Items (BOGO-style): Bill Free, Combo Free, Multibuy (buy N get M free), Cheapest Free.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spend & Save | Bill Min | 10% off orders $100+ | POS, Online | Active |

Building one: validity, channels, and who it's for
+ Add Promotion asks for a label, the promotion type, then a 📅 Validity block (start/end date, start/end time, which days of the week) and an ⚙️ Restrictions block — Channels (POS and/or Online), and optionally Members Only (Bronze/Silver+/Gold) or a specific customer list via 🎯 Assign to Specific Customers (with a "💤 Suggest Lapsed Customers" shortcut).
